Speaking things into being

“For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love” (Amplified Bible, Galatians 5:6)

We need to believe in our heart and then we need to confess with our mouth. This is what I studied two days ago. We walk by faith and not by sight. Sometimes we need to speak things that we want to happen instead of just confessing what we already have. Faith points to a creed.

We need to know what we believe. If we do not build up our knowledge we will be easily swayed. The bible also says that faith works by love. God is love and if we love him and have faith we will start to move in love. This is of course the commandment that was both in the old commandments and the new commandment from Jesus.

We need to sometimes hear something from God and then dwell on it for a long time so it can really set in.
