When you are born again

One of the things that people often wonder about is what happens when you are born again. The Bible speaks about being born again. When you take a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, then the following things all happen instantly:

your spirit which was spiritually dead it’s quickened and becomes alive

your name is written in the lamb’s book of life

You immediately become a brother of Jesus

your sins are immediately washed away and forgiven forever

you immediately become a new creature
-
you become a stranger on Earth and a citizen of heaven
Now at a time that you actually make the decision for Christ, you probably are completely unaware most of this. Nevertheless through the grace of God all of this happens and is given to you. we need to read the Bible and discover how God sees us. We need to see our position in Christ.We need to see that we are loved by God as the sons and daughters as perfect people who never sinned. Yes of course we have sinned, but when God looks at us through the person of his son Jesus, it’s as if we have never sinned. That is the miracle and the mystery of salvation.
